Amazing class! Exam questions are taken directly off of the in class notes so as long as you go to class, you'll do great! She is honestly the best lecturer i've come across for nutrition related topics. She is interesting and a role model for everything she teaches. go to her class and learn!!

Great class! Super easy, if u go to class. Exams are taken from notes verbatim. 1 easy diet analysis as term project. You really learn alot of useful stuff even if u dont care about nutrition. Teacher has a huge ego. Loves talking about her parenting and her eating, her life etc. You will use the book alot for online quizzes. Takes attendence.

Love her, love the class. This was a super interesting class, easy A. Try not to miss classes since she gives you a worksheet that pretty much turns into answers for the tests. The lowest test grade I got was 98 because the sheets were so helpful. She will do anything to help you, just show up and put in a bit of effort. Don't read book, no need.

This class was really interesting and she really knows what she's talking about. There's only class once a week usually because of online quizzes which are easy. The class is hard to get into because everyone wants to take it. Really interesting though and you learn information you can apply to your life.

Wonderful, wonderful professor. My favorite by far. I've never zoned out once in her class. She knows her stuff and she knows exactly the way to teach it. I'm actually sad the days when we don't have class because of online quizzes. Super easy and super fun class.

AMAZING teacher! Even if you have no interest in nutrition you will leave her class loving it. She makes it clear what you need to know to do well on the tests, and the online quizzes are really quick and easy grade boosters. One of the best teachers at UMD, pick her if you can!

Excellent teacher! had no interest in nutrition before, ended up being my favorite class. Online quizzes just about once a week so you end up only having the class once a week. She prints out the notes, three exams and they arent cumaltive. Take class if you can !!!

LOVED THIS PROFESSOR! it was really interesting, and actually helped me personally to get in shape and eat better haha! shes an awesome teacher, she really knows what shes talking about and will help you if you need it. exams are tough but flashcards help! the book is necessary. make sure you go to every class, and youve got an A!

Awesome class. Extremely interesting. Professor is a sweetheart. Attendance isn't fully required, but she gives 3 attendance quizzes throughout the semest. that give u bonus points towards your grade. If you miss a day youll deff miss a good chunk of notes. 2 exams, 1 final, 1 project. Exams are 50 multiple choice- know specific facts!

Interesting class. Only 2 exams, a final, and project. Large class, but attendance is mandatory and affects your grade. Professor Schwartz is nice and explains things. Gives a lot of notes, rather than have us read the book and pull it out ourselves. Project is simple and based from a CD ROM that comes with book. Overall, good course and Professor.

wicked nice teacher! (not to mention adorable). the class is easy. . . the questions on the exams come directly from her notes. there's also a project you do with the computer program that comes with the book but its a piece of cake. HIGHLY recommend
