Took her two years running for a reason... Lynda is a fantastic prof. She's a little crazy, but is genuine in every sense of the word and very eager to help and teach. If you expect a very structuralized environment maybe this isn't for you, but I enjoyed her flexibility, spontaneity and generally fun-loving atmosphere. Loved every minute.

Great prof! Lynda runs a very organized yet spontaneous class. lots of little assignments and tests, but they aren't tough. she talks fast but is clear about what is important. Fun class.

This professor was by far the worst I have ever had at Carleton. She was not helpful at all and blatantly told students to drop the class if they were struggling. She made no effort to help them. She was absolutely horrible and even personally attacked students. Even though I love the French language, I did not enjoy her class at all!

Great prof--couldn't have asked for better. Very funny and friendly. Always engages the class in discussions and keeps the class interesting A little unorganized..but her teaching makes up for it. There are often little assignments and tests, but as long as you complete your work, you will receive a good mark.

Great prof, makes sure everyone understands what she's talking about. Little assignments for every class but they take up no time. No major assignments and all tests are easy. Tells you what to study for final exam. Oral exams are easy.

This class is a lot of work, but she makes it interesting and never dry. She knows her stuff and is definitely more modern and contemporary than all my past french teachers! With her, you learn more than avoir and etre, you learn about the culture too.
