She was a great professor. She tried to keep things interesting by making us work in groups and she liked when one group had a different opinion then the other. Sometimes we would spend the whole class time arguing with each other. It was fun. I really enjoyed her as a professor.

Awesome Teacher.Very encouraging and motivating. She always gives good real life examples and teaches you things you can't learn from the book. She is really passionate too, lol, you get used to her ridiculous laugh too. You will never be bored in this class with her. Just do your work and attend everyday and you should get an "A."

Burks is intelligent, attractive, fun teacher! I was looking forward to going to her class. Class discussions were interesting and stimulating. She was helpful as well. Once, she held a class in commons (cafeteria) cause the whole class used to go to play pool and hang out there during the break, so she just came down and resumed class there! =)

Dr. Burks was a pretty good teacher. It's a very laid back atmosphere in her class and she's not really that tough of a grader. I guess I took an introductory class so take that for what its worth. She is constantly late for class though but she's pretty lenient on your tardiness. Overall pretty hot, but beware of that snorting laugh.
