I took Lynn for Graphic Design II. The first half of the semester, homework was very heavy each week. But then the second half was a bit more laid back and more fun. Lynn gave good critiques on my work and I feel like I learned a lot from her. The main complaint I had besides the heavy homework was little feedback on grades for assignments.

Lynn represents a true artist, tasteful, classy and is very talented. Not only is she wonderful as an artist but she was meant to be a teacher, especially an art teacher. She made clear that art Is our world, and pushed us to our limits which is rare. She creates better artists and cares about their growth.

I have had her for almost all of my DES courses at OU and she is by far the best. Extremely helpful and gives actual critiques, sometimes she seems harsh but believe me it's worth it. Accepting of all design styles.

Professor Galbreath is a great professor! She is very laidback and gives honest, good critiques of work. Her quizzes are fair because she gives you a huge hint of reading the questions at the end of each chapter. Her grading is ok, but more feedback on why things were graded would be good. Lynn is a great woman and professor.

I loathe Lynn......she wants everyone to paint exactly like her and doesn't appreciate individual painting styles....she definitely plays favorites and i was not one of them because i did my own thing...im a studio art major and by the end of the semester she didnt even remember this!..i almost changed my major to something else because of her!

Lynn is awesome. She gives 100% - if your feelings get hurt because she's honest, grow up! You won't learn anything if she lies and tells you your stuff is great when it sucks. I really learned a lot from her. Definitely recommend her for beginners. Go in with a good attitude and work hard!

Lynn was a great teacher! Yeah she plays favorites to the ones who actually care about the class. Just be confident and more importantly, be critical of your work. Dont just stand there and wait for her to say whats wrong with it. Say "i dont like this, but i do like this."

If this is the first time u'r exposing urself to art,then yes u may find her a little critical.However,she is only doing it to teach u basic drawing skills and techniques in order for u to develop ur own style,and she does recognize and praise every individual's unique style.Grade is based on effort

She definitly plays favorites. She doesnt respect your work, and tries to change your drawings when you think they look good, but really she messes them up. Her examples dont help and she only helps people she likes. I used to love art, and I dread going to her class.

i think that this was her first time teaching this class and she is doing ok. She i don't think is as nearly as hard as the other teachers and kinda goes with the flow. If your not good at art she will teach you some good basics.
