Comment:

As an online class, I would expect a professor to be more responsive to emails. It's extremely hard to get a response to an email, sometimes an entire week goes by putting you in a tough position for the assignments as you have to make the decisions on your own. It's easy if you watch the long lectures and there's a lot of movies with responses.

Comment:

She is a very responsive teacher for it being an online class. However, it is a LOT of videos you have to watch and respond to so be warned before you take this course. It also contains a large assignment to visit the Art Institute that cannot be put off till the end. Overall, it's an easy A if you put in the busy work.

I LOVED this class because I love Adobe programs. It was awesome learning about each one, but the assignments were extremely time consuming. I spent at least four hours on each! Expect to spend a lot of time in the lab outside of class. Ms. Hill is awesome as a person. I hope I have her again... not yet sure if I will decide to minor in an art.

It is a very time consuming class. But, Professor Hill does teach you enough of the basics that anything with the software really is in your power. But seriously - get ready to spend time because some of these projects are very tedious. She grades fair, really does, its just it takes a lot of outside of class work.

Professor Hill is one of the easiest teachers I've had so far. I had her for both intro to art software and my FYS. She explains how to use the softwares very well, they're all just very time consuming. I think as long as you attempt to do the projects even if you're not an art major, you will pass the class.

A very low class teacher, who loves to primp in class and reminds me of a witch in appearance. Basically if you are not an art major she does not pay attention to your request for help. Overall I would not recommend students take her course unless they need a P or F class.

Wonderful teacher who has a love for what she does. Infuses everyday with a living vibrancy so the students can take from it, even if the class is at 8 in the morning. Helps with fostering ideas and loves to use different things, such as music, to make a class exciting.

Dr. Hill's job pretty much mandates that she be a cool person, considering she's hip enough to use software that even most college-age students aren't familiar with. Pay attention, though, especially if you aren't familiar with Mac computers. Half of every class is workshop-based so you really get to choose when you want to go home.

Lynn Hill r0x0rs...she is the coolest teacher and best adviser i have ever had...she is very helpful to all students and wants the best for each of them. I definitely recommend taking a class with her any chance you get!!!!

Very nice professor. Her assignments are usually rather vague, but she is very leinent on what you do. When a problem arises she tries her best to solve the problem with you.
