Took the course online and during a civil discussion board post, she referred me to the college Dean for disagreeing with her thoughts. Dean saw nothing wrong with my post and agreed she's a snowflake. Beware if you have your own opinions you want to share.

Lynn is one of the best professors I have ever had at Chaffey. She is absolutely passionate about the material she teaches. She not only keeps you entertained during the lecture she has you wanting to come to class. She is so loving and friendly and she loves her students. She really is a fearless leader with real spunk. She helped me find myself.

If you attend, participate, and do the assignments, you will easily get an A in this class. This is probably the most laid back class I've ever taken. Lynn is a brisk, attractive, and kind Professor. Class could get boring at times, but Lynn would do her best to prevent that from happening.

She is an excellent professor, but not for an online class. The work required is more than that of an English 1B class. She has us writing one essay a week (yikes!) and the final essay has to be 7-10 pages long. If you are not into writing a ton of papers on tough topics, I do not suggest taking this class. Other than that, she is fairly decent.

I took her hybrid class and loved her. She was so awesome and helpful. She's passionate about her sociology and I loved hearing what she had to say. She actually seemed to care about each student individually. She even personally met with each one of us to make sure we were happy w our grade. Highly recommended.

I took her for Human Sexuality. Professor Lynn is, hands down, my favorite professor. She makes the class educational, yet fun. The class was far from awkward. She makes the information so interesting that you're sure to remember it. There are a couple tests, and two project/essays but the subjects make them enjoyable. 10/10 i definitely recommend.

I was a tad iffy about taking the course b/c it was a hybrid, but after attending class for the first week i automatically fell in love with Lynn her enthusiastic approach to teaching sociology was inspiring. It kept my attention and I literally looked forward to attending her class every week. Thanks to her i chose to change my major to sociology.

Just finished her Human Sexuality class and Professor Lynn was by far the best professor I have ever had in college. She cares so much about the subject matter, her students and makes this class SO much fun! Come in with an open mind and judgement at the door and I promise you will have an amazing experience.

Her human sexuality class was by far amazing and informative. She is so helpful and understanding to anyone's situation. She presents the material in a way so that she doesn't offend anyone and if so she will apologize and understand is one needs to leave.

This was the worst online class Ive ever taken. The teachers layout are horrible. The is horrible. She doesnt teach you anything. When you contact her she is so rude. I think she forgo this was a Sociology class not an English class because thats how she grades.

Excellent teacher. Is a little eccentric so beware! But overall she is amazing. Can't make up tests and they are timed. She will go over anything you help help with and will take time to meet you after class. Definitely worth taking.

Very awesome teacher. Unfortunately for me I took a test and it didn't go threw. The test can not be made up. It sucks if your like me and always want an A+ but Mrs. Navarette did what was fair by not counting it towards my grade. Im happy for that, my grade would have been a lot lower. However those points can not be made up. I ended up with a B+

I love Prof Lynn shes so nice and willing to help/ talk to you after class or during her office hrs. my class was a hybrid not hard at all. quiz's online and every other week, essay post (fairly easy) once a wk- read/ watch vid she post on moodle. 1 group project VERY FUN! and 1 Final (essay)

Online course. very easy, she is passionate & friendly. I have 1 big problem w/ her, She doesn't keep you posted on your grades. I was concerned because I had no clue how I was doing, & if I wasn't doing well on the work, by the time she gave ANY feedback (halfway into the semester, literally) it was too late to change anything. Still, got an A.

Best teacher i've ever had! Such a passion for what she teaches and will go over ANY type of question, even if t's already been discussed. Sincerely loves her students and wants them to understand material. Also- she's always able to be contacted and responds to e-mails quickly. Do the reading and look over power points- A for sure !

I'm crazy about Lynn. She's an amazing professor and person. Her class completely changed my life and my career path. Anyone who says they didn't like her class is plain lazy. This class is outstanding, but she will definitely test your knowledge of the material.
