This class was TOUGH! The online exams were only allowed during a window of Wed. night at 9pm - that does not work well with my schedule. Make sure you do the practice problems and lots of them, the exams are timed and I ran out of time on the first exam. The group project for an online class was difficult to manage. Lots of discussion posts.

This is a challenging course, so you have to keep up to do well. Professor Khan provides homework solutions/sample problems that are very helpful when taking the tests. Use his examples to work through the problems --easier methodology than in the book. Answers e-mails fast. Willing to set up meetings as needed. He genuinely seems to care.

Very confusing. He provided no flexibility even though this is a CE online course. I don't believe my exam was graded fairly, it seems that he just assigns random grades since there's no specified cutoffs. The school could have a robot teaching this class and you would never know the difference.

Khan was OK to take online. Believe me, you will not learn a thing from this class. If you are not self motivated however, this is not the professor for you. In order to succeed in his class, work on your group project ASAP, study the problems solved in his notes. He has no cut off points for grades. This class is an easy B, hard A.

Don't buy the book. 2 exams (80%) & 1 group project (%20). There are no grade cut offs; this can work for you or against you depending on how well the rest of the class does. Do the practice problems before the exams and you'll be ok. You won't learn a thing but you will pass.

General class setup/notes made sense but some topics took independent practicing. Group project setup makes no sense (teams grade each other - no prof input) so that can be good/bad depending on the class. Not enough time to do his midterm and super strict on exam taking times (no flexibility). Material was fair but professor not so much.

If you actually like knowing why he took points off on your grades he is not the professor for you. Gives you a 2 hour window on a random date in the middle of the day for you to call him during, didn't answer his phone, or return phone calls and blames the student for not "following directions and reaching out when he said he would be available"

Professor Khan was OK to take online. I didn't learn a thing from this class. In order to succeed in his class, develop a working relationship with your teammates ASAP, study his notes, do the practice problems and you'll be fine. His tests were harder than expected. He has no cut off points for grades. If you want to get an A, pick different prof.

Easy A, I took Operations Mgmt and Operations Analysis with him. Don't need to buy the book, just take the notes to the exam and you'll get an A. This class is not for people who have a hard time teaching themselves concepts. I'd take a class with him again to get an easy A. ATTENDANCE IS NOT MANDATORY

You have to know that he barely speaks english. You cannot understand a work he says. He is so confusing!! Attendance is rewuired and going to class is BRUTAL. its so boring. His tests were somewhat easy though. IF you write down anything he gives credit. I would stay away from him

If you need Operations Mgmt and you want to take it online with Khan, things to know: Do NOT buy the book! $200 ill never see again & i never opened the book. Print out and review the problem examples from his notes - same as exam. He'll tell you to get the book, don't. You will not learn a thing, but you'll pass.

One of the easiest classes ever. Gives about 1 HW every month that you get to choose which problem to do and put into some software that takes about 1 minute to do. Exams not based on what he teaches but he scales them heavily (he gave me an 85 when I shoulda gotten a 30). Group project is entirely student graded so its impossible to do bad on it.

Uses the most ridiculous system of homework collecting... pass them in to some random designated student and hope he still has them at the end of the semester. He's difficult to understand but thankfully the material is easy.

Easy B, hard A if you study sincerely with the textbook. But easy A if you just read the notes and work out the problems from the professor. Boring math class, but practically applicable in real world. Read the notes Stupid!!

He seemed like an ok guy, but he was very difficult to understand at times, and I do not think we learned ANYTHING about Ops Mgmt Fundamentals...this was essentially a glorified math class. The text book was HUGE HUGE HUGE waste of money too. All you need to do is look at his notes on Blackboard.

Operations Analysis Techniques. Took it in the summer. Most USELESS class ever. His notes do not make sense, had us not bother with the final presentation (which he graded anyways). 3 exams that you will have no idea what you are doing, they are graded randomly, so draw pictures. Ended up with a B+, learned absolutely nothing. Better of sleeping.
