Dr. Scanlan is one of the most influential people in my life. She is an absolutely AMAZING person. She doesn't so much push you, but makes you want to push yourself. She makes the solution for things seem so easy..."Just do it!" I admire her so much and i only hope that i can be as cool as she is when i grow up.

One of the best professors I've ever had. She seems to know everything about everything! She makes music history extremely fascinating, I was never once bored in her class. In piano class, she really pushes her students to do well. She really seems to care about how well her students do in class.
