He is a very smart guy and it's clear that he knows his stuff. The material itself wasn't that interesting to me, but he is laid back and pretty funny and it makes class somewhat enjoyable. If you take extremely detailed notes you can probably get away without buying the textbook because his tests come straight out of his lecture.

Comment:

Mr. Brooms is one of the coolest teachers at Troy. He knows his stuff, and doesn't just lecture. We talk. Everyone has their say in any discussion, and we all end up learning something new. It's great. Plus, he makes the class feel like a big group of friends, hanging out AND learning. I love his class!

I love Mac! He is easy going, knows what he is talking about. If you fail his class it is because you want to or just never ever show up. He's the reason I added social science as a secoond major.
