This was my first time taking a class with Magdy and it was one of the best classes I've ever taken at CSUN. He's funny, nice, and is an amazing teacher. Projects are challenging, but are super fun.

Very funny and engaging. Class is a far cry from what most designers are used to because motion adds a whole new aspect to design. This is a motion graphics class, not an After Effects class. Since I am into videos, I found this easy. Some, not so much. He is very helpful if you need it. Lots of lab time. Need a good computer to easily work.

I love this teacher, he is fair grader, i gotta work to get thru his class, but he always there to help and SHOW how to fix your work. Funny, laid back, easy to talk to. Respectful to students. Take his class if you can!! Very highly recommended.

Formerly known as Art 396 MG. Only 3 projects (which you can make up for higher grades). Magdy's sense of humor made it easier for me to grasp the lessons at hand. Syllabus says attendance is mandatory. It's not, but I recommend it because it's an excellent time. My interest (and ability) in this subject has skyrocketed thanks to this class. Kudos

Great guy, really funny, keeps a good work atmosphere. You get a lot of lab time in class and the lectures are online, no textbook. He's really understanding, but he does look for effort. You can resubmit almost any assignment. Very helpful and knowledgable but he is very down to earth. You'll laugh at least once a class.
