I took mystery and detective fiction with her - it's an interesting course! Her marking was completely different for the two assessment, but the test was relatively easy! Read the books, go to lecture and you'll be fine!

SO basically this course is the easiest English course, if you need an essay course I highly suggest taking this course bc its made for non English students. I barely attended class and read the books slowly, if you read the books you never have to study for the midterm and exam bc they were soo easy. The assignments were easy too

I had her course as a grad student and loved most of the readings she selected! Her expectations are very clear and fair. It may take time for her to open up but you can tell she cares about her students.

This prof is hella endearing. She's kind and gives thoughtful lectures. She's readily available to meet with her students and is always willing to help with essay writing. She marks sort of tough, but will give you the chance to improve your essay going forward. I'd def take a class with her again.

Class was good, would have liked some theory intro'd onto syllabus, still good choices on texts. Class participation could be better. Awesome sense of humour, kind and caring person, excellent essay coaching, fair marker, and open-minded to students ideas. Overall good experience for a dry course.
