I really enjoyed the class. Right from the get-go we are placed in groups and start working with real clients. Focuses on how to actually apply everything we learn in class. Great for 'real' world experience. Can be a bit dry in lecture but really goes out of his way to help. Would take again!

Class was average, not particularly interesting. The professor spoke with a heavy accent, and skipped around a lot. Expect to learn the quantitative topics yourselves. Classed grading system is the worst for an MBA class i've seen. Extremely unfair grading policy!

Yea, I had the same issue as well at Cornell. He has a very odd grading policy - almost all of it is based on your peer evaluations. To me, it shows laziness in grading on his part. His english is okay, but lectures are usually all over the place and boring. Never interacted with outside the classroom, so I don't know how he is in person.

Had him for Stats - it was very hard material but he did a good job teaching it. He went out of his way to make time for separate (optional) study sessions. Definitely not an easy class, he made you work for your grade, but he was fair and helpful. Had a good sense of humor and treated students well.

He speaks perfect english... And the lectures are actually interesting. The problem is that he treats himself like a minion of the textbook. The exams are straight from there, and going to class has zero benefit, so no one ever comes. Also, all the "educational" videos shown in class from the textbook are basically commercials. How clever of them.

Prof. Agarwal gave me a solid idea of how to develop a marketing strategy and think critically about marketing approaches. Very nice and humorous, seemed to enjoy teaching, and made an 8:30 class fun to go to. The only qualm I have is his slides don't give enough info to "take home," a criticism he dismissed in a lecture. Definitely recommended.

Very boring classes. Only 2 tests during the semester. The final was the worst test I've taken in my entire school career. It's a useful class though. If someone else like Chat taught it, it would be much better.
