He tells you many personal stories, He makes you think about how grateful we have to be, and the way he teaches is by telling you EXACTLY what he wants. STEP BY STEP, only 3 essays, no hw, exams, or anything. Attendance not mandatory, he's funny, and is not afraid to curse. Its either you get an A or an F. He tends to have favorites but he's GREAT!

Amazing professor, is one of those classes that you want to wake up in the morning to just go and be there. He is the best example of a professor, a human being, he is friendly, kind and funny. Only 2 papers which he told you what he wanted to see but he was open minded to new ideas and what ever you wanted on the lines he said. TAKE THIS CLASS!

BEST English professor at FIU/MDC. Goes by the syllabus. His lectures are clear and straight to the point. He likes to bother students but in a friendly way. On his papers, he tells you EXACTLY what he wants. He is always willing to help. I passed with an A. Not a tough grader, but he does expect you to do all the assignments. 110% recommend.

An AMAZING English professor, quite frankly the best at FIU. He will detail you everything he wants for the papers and how it is structured. His lectures are very entertaining and filled with lots of information that is good to know not just for English class, but for the future. He is a true inspiration. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I had Professor Duasso back in my first fall semester over at FIU for ENC 1102 and he is simply amazing. At first you feel kind of awkward because of his disability but after a week or so you get completely comfortable. He is a great Professor and does his best to make sure you succeed and he also hates quite classes.

Although he is blind, he has to be the most inspiring, enthusiastic, and passionate teacher I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. TAKE HIM! He's really funny and all of his lectures are storylike, which I personally love. And because of his disability, you can text, sleep, eat, come in late, etc. Just answer his questions. He hates quiet classes

Amazing professor, anyone taking his class should love him. I took him for Summer B and we only had to do 2 papers. Never even touched the books! He explains everything perfectly clear, and even helps you write your papers in class. Super funny guy too. He changed the way I write, definitely recommended! Take him!

This professor is amazing and very inspiring. Explains everything really well and cares about his students. Really great guy snd very funny as well. He used to make my mornings! Textbooks were not used at all. Do whatever it takes to take his class, you won't regret it and like I said, it is very inspiring.
