Helped my acting. It's hard to get used to his style in the beginning but as you spend more classes with him, you'll find that he's there to help you all the way through. He's a good professor, and I like his style of acting. This class wasn't easy though for sure. I hated having to memorize all those lines. God, took a long time to get prepared.

Yeah, I have to agree that he can be a pain in the ass sometimes and does indeed interrupt ppl way too much. We have to deal with that a lot in class on a daily basis, but we get through it. Overall? I think he still helps your acting by a little bit.

TAKE THIS CLASS!! it is very easy if you are average/good at acting. Easy A, we majority play games in class and go on a few field trips. Final is memorizing a 2 minutute spoken world. Out class became a family. He critiques are helpful. LOVE THIS CLASS

Pinate is the best there is! A teacher that knows what hes talking about because he too is an actor, song writer and poet. Very easy to understand and has high energy as well. Field trips are great as well. 10/10 teaching.

Marc is one of the best teachers ive had. Very passionate with his work and makes acting exercises second nature. He knows what he is talking about because he too is an inspiring actor. Nice guy and easy to confront about any questions. Trip to Berkley was great got to see live performances as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Marc is awesome! I absolutely loved this class. We became a family and I looked forward to going to class everyday. There is one mandatory field trip to Berkley at night, but it is so much fun. I would totally recommend this class!!!!!!!

Mark is awesome! Puts himself on the same level as students and is honest about what he thinks and feels. Kind of a hippie. Isn't afraid to curse and show his true self, which makes the environment comfortable. Had a great time in the class, classmates were hysterical and I learned a lot about myself. Fastanstic idea for a GE class and an easy A/B.

Marc is one of the best teachers I've had at SJSU. He's kinda young, cool, activist guy. Gives pretty good feedback on how to improve on performance, but may be a bit critical at times. He's hilarious though and says some random things in class. I love his class and highly recommend it!

GREATEST TEACHER of all my class for Fall 2005. makes me want to go. Not much paper work, more on acting. Gives a lot of help on improvement and connects with students well! Take us to watch plays to improve our own acting. Hip and Hilarious and a spoken word champ. I would recommended this teacher to everyone

Very cool guy. Helpful and engaging. Makes you work to earn your grade. Trust me... take his class. Even if I gave him a 3 on "ease", if you come ready to work, you will be fine. Just show up and listen, don't slack. Highly recommend!
