Comment:
The class discussions are very helpful to understanding the texts. He encourages students to speak with him after class... but I found the talks to be too short to be particularly helpful -- there would usually be about a dozen of other students waiting in line. His "reading tests" are pretty pointless.

Clear, concise, in-depth analysis of the text. Friendly, approachable disposition. Only quibble is that he tends to let students monopolize the discussion and reduce his teaching time.

Nice guy, knowledgable, rather dry (read: boring) delivery of the material, some interesting insights provided in lecture. And yes, those attentive reading tests are piss annoying, but I agree with Plamandon that they're necessary (c'mon...how many of you actually read the damn books past the frontispiece if you can get away with doing it?)

He's good so far, but he lets students talk too much and he never really seems to understand what they're saying. He also administers annoying "attentive reading tests" which test your knowledge on the eye colour of the unnamed character who sat at the back of the dark room with his head turned. Annoying stuff like that. B+

Nice guy. Good prof. Good time spent on each text and lectures were organized for the amount of material we had to cover. One annoying thing though was he let the class speak a little too much. Especially annoying when those who had no clue wouldn't stop blabbing, and he would just let them go on and on. Allot of eye rolling. Marks fairly. B+

Boring. Class lasted an eternity. Was big into staying after class and having a "victorian tea" complete with a live performance from Plamondon himself...snore.

The course code is slipping my mind, but he teaches Narrative pretty well. Reasonable time spent on each text. His atheist views contradict how much we talk about damn religion though. I can't stand that. He let's the students speak though. Overall OK.

Plamondon encourages students to stay after class and ask the questions that did not gt answered during class time, though when one approches him he is curt. He obviously wants to help, but he needs to be more approchable.
