Homework each week, 3 tests a semester, pop quizes that are hard and long. Expect to have a massive homework packets that require extreme detail. You should be prepared to devote 10 hours to this class per week in homework and preparation for exams. Nappy can also be a bit racist or sexist at times but all in all he is OK. Knows his stuff, just a hard class. His TA does all his grading for him. Learn MATLAB BEFORE you take this class, every homework uses it intensely although he does give packets on most of the code you will have to write.

Hard class if you don't have the previous exams. If you get the previous exams this class becomes easy. The homework assignments are ridiculously long, but do your best on them. You will learn a lot from his handouts, and the book is basically a piece of junk. So make sure to get the handouts! or if you're lucky enough his new book (not out yet)

Dr. Napolitano is AMAZING! He is hands down the best teacher at WVU. He has a difficult class, but he spends the extra time IN and OUT of class to help students understand the material. Best teacher by far - and now my graduate research adviser.

Needs to crack down on the cheating in his class. Needs to be nicer to Mechanical majors who haven't taken his previous Aerospace classes. I had to work during his office hours so I could never go see him. Sorry, but some students have to pay their own rent, food, textbooks, etc.

hard class. NEEDS TO CHANGE THE HW AND TESTS FROM YEARS PAST. OLD TESTS ARE THE SAME AND SOME PEOPLE HAVE THEM...thus they do no work and get A's while others study hard and almost fail. he is NOT flexible at all with office hours. and the TA is not very good either.
