Exams and Assignments are fair. She seems to think we're preschoolers, rambles a lot and really draws her examples out by asking the class to give her the answer to every minute calculation. AVOID!

Disliked every class. Took the course twice, once with another Prof and I continued to use notes from his class because he taught much better than her. She seems to be in her own little world where everyone knows how to do math.

While a nice person, Beattie is an impressively bad professor. Things I learned last year in calculus and understood perfectly, she made them more confusing and I didn't feel confident at all. Much of the material we had to do in labs she did not teach in class, and because she is so soft-spoken the class was ridiculously boring too. Not fun.

she's terrible. she explains stuff so fast and ignores questions. she would always make mistakes that we would have to cath ourselves. no wonder the fail rate is so high. she's a very unpleasant person outside of the classroom too. don't take it with her if you can help it.
