sad to hear that dr. burk will be retiring soon. she made hard concepts in finance easy to understand, lots of practice in class, good examples. her tests were fair and covered exactly what she reviewed with us. i will never forget her explanation of what was happening in the 9/08 financial meltdown, and why it happened. excellent teacher.

Comment:
Consumer Behavior class ties together concepts from marketing, psychology, sociology, and economics. Prof. Burk makes it all make sense. I understand much more about how consumers think and act, and how marketers target us, than from the basic marketing class. Lots of work but I learned so much!

She is such a sweet lady! I got a b, but she covered plenty of material. And she has some kind of an illness, she doesn't just skip class. She is so funny in her own way and really knows her stuff, atleast about marketing. Like a mommy. Very neat!

She is more concerned with her personal life and not having to be in class for a long time to be interested in teaching her courses. She is by far the worst teacher I've ever had. She should be replaced with someone who actually wants to be there and teach. She misses too much and you don't get what you should from the class.
