Shes an awesome teacher. Shes really passionate about what she teaches and she wants you to do well. Not much homework at all but you have to write a paper every once in a while. Mostly teaches through PowerPoints but make sure you pay attention because all the stuff in the PowerPoints is on the test too. Be ready to memorize.

I had taken CLCV 1550 before (different professor) and received a less than desirable grade, mostly because it was difficult to be engaged. However, Professor Toscano does a great job of making classes enjoyable and her clear love for what she is teaching makes it all the more interesting. I would highly recommend her.

Go to class every time and you'll rack up a ton of points and extra credit. Her lectures are very entertaining, she is a fantastic teacher. The two papers are pretty easy and actually fun to write. Go to her review sessions before tests, she tells you everything you need to know. One of my favorite teachers I've had.

Ms. Toscano loves her students! For each exam she offered a review session that went over all the material to know. She even brought candy! Just go to class because she does some participation points every once in a while.

Professor Toscano did an awesome job with this class. While it is lecture heavy, she makes it interesting by having class discussions and relating it to a modern world context. She gives you a lot of information, so be sure to attend the test review she holds to get the information that is most important. It helps a lot.

Professor Toscano obviously loves her job and she helps to project her love of Mythology onto her students. She is very entertaining, and if you pay attention and go to class, then you can easily pass with an A. I highly recommend this course. It is one of the best courses at this University.

Shes amazing! She has 16 total participation points, and only counts 13 of them for an actual grade. The rest are turned into extra credit!! The papers and exams are easy if you show up to class and actively listen. She has review sessions and gives away some answers, plus theyre SUPER helpful.

She's very passionate, but lectures can seem like she's rambling on a bit. However, if you listen in class, and go to her review sessions you should do well on the tests. Two essays that were extremely easy and she doesn't grade very harsh

The class is simple, but it is a lot of memorization. You need to go to class since she does random participation points, and she does specify important trick questions and what their solution on the test will be. Also if you miss a few lectures and don't want to memorize everything, just go to her review and she tells you what is on the test.

Lovely person. She is there to help you and cares about her students. Passionate about Greek Myth. As others have said, her lectures tend to get kind of boring and u really don't need to take notes b/c of study guide. If you want to get an A, you get A. If you want to actually learn about Greek Myth, read textbooks. Overall I would recommend this.

Half way through the semester I didn't even want to show up to class because I was beyond bored. The lectures get a bit dry, but over all the class is easy. There are participation points that don't add up to too much, but there are two essays and two exams that are your entire grade. Really easy to pass if you just use her study guide.

Dr. Toscano is one of the coolest professors I've ever had! She's so sweet and knowledgeable and so passionate about Greek mythology. CL CV 1550 is a great class to take for an easy HF credit but take it from Toscano if you can. If you show up for class and do the study guide before the tests and submit the papers, you'll pass just fine.

Pretty easy A. She does participation points like half of the time but they aren't too important for your grade. She gives you extra credit just for going to class every once in a while too. Your grade pretty much consists of two tests and two papers. Her test reviews will save your grade! She's super awesome though definitely take this class!

Dr. Toscano is a delight. I have zero interest in Greek Mythology, so the material bored me, but I loved listening to prof lecture. Such a sweet lady who wants to see her students succeed. Tests are quite easy, and so are the two papers. Attendance is graded once in a while, so go to the class. Readings can be fun, but aren't essential.

Toscano is such a great prof. Lectures can get boring and long. Tests are not that hard if you go to reviews and study. Participation/extra credits are given randomly if you attend class so it is mandatory to go to class if you want a good grade. you also have to write 2 papers which were not hard. Very easy gen ed class!

She's an amazing teacher! She has a great passion for the classical civilizations and shows that in her teaching. She makes this class interesting and sometime fun. There are only 2 papers you have to write, and 2 tests you will have to take. she holds review sessions before each test, so you literally have to be stupid to fail.
