TAKE HER!! shes awesome, and so nice. you just discuss the reading the entire class (gets slightly boring)... shes not a hard grader if you try on your papers, and she aways corrects the rough drafts. I took her for english 11 and 12 and got A's.

The class was good when discussing current issues, but drifted in subject matter. One day she would go over basic grammar, and the next would be peer evalutaions- which were a joke. Pretty managable work load. Good feedback on essays.

Prof. Zowine is a great teacher. There is hardly any outside reading, and if there is it's under 5 pages, and relates to real life situations. There are no written tests or quizzes. You only have a few journals, and short papers and one larger paper. She corrects everything for you before you hand in the final draft. Take her if you can.
