I took her once as a freshman in Am. Pluralism class a decade ago. Her thoughtful words encouraged me to major in English. Later on I took another one of her classes as a senior and was introduced to H. Murakami. I always enjoyed her lectures. She was truly an inspiring individual and a great professor.

Very protective of her opinions. Harsh grading on papers. Can be unclear on important concepts. However, she does know what she's talking about and you can get a lot out of the class if you try.
