Comment:
Her class consists of random overheads which she explains poorly. She is a HORRIBLE teacher as no one ever understands what she is talking about. She stutters when she speaks and it always looks like it is her first ever time speaking to a class. Never take this class if you know what is good for you.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS CLASS. I ACED AP CALC IN HIGH SCHOOL AND AM DOIN POORLY IN HER CLASS. READ THE BOOK. I HAVE MORE FUN COUTING HOW MANY TIMES SHE SAYS "STRAIGHTFORWARD" THAN PAYING ATTENTION. GOOD THING SHE IS LEAVING. AND SHE CONFUSES HERSELF AND STUTTERS.....BAD BAD IDEA

She moves fast but that's not necessarily bad, there's a lot of material to cover. She has an annoying voice and studders sometimes which gets really annoying, and she's not very confident. I don't rank her among my better professors. I have neglected to read the book at all, but am not doing horribly in the class.

Awful teacher. Screws you up even if you took calc and aced it before. Terrible, random tests. Moves at break-neck speed over big stuff. No help outside of class unless you know exactly why you dont get it, which is bogus when she confuses you on an entire concept and you don't even know where to begin. Take it from johnson, i hear she's great.

Not as bad as people make her out to be. Has trouble expressing herself in words, but its really not very tough material and her tests are easy as long as you do homework and just teach yourself stuff if you dont understand her way.

everything you read here is true. and if you didn't take calculus in high school, you are screwed. If you did, you can make an A, but remember not to listen to her in class. Absolutely the worst educator I've ever experienced in my life. The dept. should let students with a 3 on the AP get credit.

Ewwwwww...stay away!! Her tests are insane (as in-"where the heck does she get this stuff??") and she is very defensive about the fact that she is NOT a good prof (ie- ask her a question and she acts like you are attacking her)...

one of the worst teachers i've had. nice lady but extremely unclear; yes she's open to questions but that doesnt do much for you if she cant answer them in a way that you understand. tests always include information that she has not taught. awful, awful, awful class.

She's an incredibly nice lady... She's just extremely unclear when it comes to teaching calculus. Calculus is supposed to be easy. Also, quizes and tests seem to include topics we didn't discuss.

She cares about her students and is very willing to help out those who are having trouble. However, though she is a wonderful person, she is not a very good teacher. Unclear and frazzled.
