Attendance is not mandatory, but there are daily 5 question T/F quizzes that add up to be 12.5% of your grade. As long as you attend class and try on the quizzes you should get the highest points allowed. The tests are a little difficult, but definitely doable. Her lectures are fast passed and not very organized, but is willing to help after class

Comment:

Covers material way to quickly and moved a test up a week once because she went so fast. Every day there is a quiz. Tests are the hardest I have taken and focus on extremely small details. She knows a lot about the material bot does not know hot to teach effectively - I've met with her many times and have not improved.

She is the funniest person alive. I loved her class so much- she is such a hoot and a great teacher! You have to pay attention in her lectures because she goes through things pretty fast, but she does a bunch of practice problems so it's really not that bad. She also offers way more points than you need to get an A, so it's easy to get a good grade

This class was amazing. VERY easy grading, the final exam is optional and can replace your lowest test grade. Prof Biery is funny, sarcastic, and very intelligent. Great econ teacher and great class. Made an easy A and loved it. Also, she doesn't do plus minus grading.

Professor Biery is a truly fantastic teacher. Her lectures are clear-cut, and as long as you do what her syllabus says, you'll get an A. As long as you show interest in the class, she'll help you as much as she can. But always try to be in her class early - she has a quiz every day!

Great professor. Has personal essays online that help you prepare for wording of the tests. Quizzes are easy if you review your notes. I loved this class and would recommend it to anyone!

Every day there is a quiz and if you're 1 minute late to class she won't let you take the quiz, but she will belittle you over it. When lecturing her handwriting is so bad. If you take this class be prepared to teach yourself or find a tutor.

Daily quizzes worth 5 points so you can't really skip class. Granted I missed 7 and still pulled out an A I don't recommend it. Her lectures are hard to follow because of her handwriting and she jumps around. It's a lot of group work, almost every other day. She's not the best, but not the worst.

Her grading system is fair, and the tests are manageable. She is very helpful if you seek help. Her lectures are all over the place and confusing at times, but if you seek help, she will explain it better.

When I took Macro, it was an e-Companion course. Most of quizzes were online and we only had to show up for in-class quizzes, group projects and tests. Her grading policy is fair; if you try on the each of the quizzes and group assignments you'll get full credit. She was a bit unclear, but willing to dig deeper in optional lectures. Use her essays!

She is the most unorganized teacher i have had at TCU. I studied constantly and still really struggled! he lectures are unorganized and her test questions and packets tell you the opposite of the book. daily easy quizzes. I made a B but I would never recommend her. Take this if you want to be confused and not learn anything.

Class attendance isnt required but quiz each day to make sure you come. Quizzes are good grade boosters. Grading is very generous, test can be tough. Overall helpful. Does speak and write fast, especially for 8am but nothing a college student cant handle.

Gives daily quizes to help give you points to raise final grade. Is an awesome lady and amazing economic teacher and loves what she teaches. I only got a C because im a poor economic student, not because of her. She talks fast and writes fast so keep up, but this is college guys, deal with it. I reccomend taking her class for a good challenge.

Biery is the sweetest lady you will ever meet. She is intimidating because she really knows her material so goes through it quickly but she is so willing to meet with you to help you understand. She does daily quizzes, group exams, summaries, group projects and exams. best economics teacher as it is a hard topic to grasp.
