Gateway class all SIS freshman have to take. Great time to do other homework. A couple short papers are required. You are also suppose to go to different international events during the year, but you can make them up. Kind of a waste of time. Ends a month earlier then all other classes.

Leadership Gateway was a complete and absolute waste of my lifetime. I couldn't say I learned anything in that class except that the seats in Ward1 are not too great for naps. They say that this class is "required" for SIS majors, but if you speak to you advisor it really isn't. BEWARE!

The leadership gateway class itself is a waste of time, but Cowles & Bosco did what they could with it. She is very dedicated and knowledgeable in the EU & IR in general; if you want help she'll give it to you. Very passionate about the subject; a bit quirky at times, but very nice.

Excellent, devoted teacher. Passionate about subject. Incredibly helpful on academic projects and personal requests (recommendations, advice). Brings your writing and analytical skills to new level with careful reviews and constructive criticism. Offers encouragement when needed. All-around great prof- my favorite!
