Worst class I have ever taken. She goes way too fast, is unclear, totally unorganized, assigns tons of work that doesn't relate to the exams at all, even A students in my class failed her exam. She waited until after the exam to cover things that were on the test. Avoid this class at all costs.

she was completly off subject on tangents and she would ramble on and on about something completly obvious to the point of boredom. If I hadn't taken chemistry before with a hard teacher I would not have understood a word. She shouldn't be a teacher because her ability to convey information was pointless and a waste of my time.

She is very nice, but goes TOO fast. I had taken highschool chem awhile back but this is HARD. She flips through the slides faster then you can write. It doesnt help that the first week she was unorganized, so we are 2 days behind. When she does take some time to explain a question, she is NOT clear. I'm dropping it!

I hear Grant is much better in 30A. She should stick to 30A. She's all over the place in 3A, hard to follow. For students just looking for a good grade - memorize your homework problems. For those wanting to learn chemistry, go elsewhere.

Dr Grant is so funny, students tend to get mad because they dont do well! Thats mostly do to the lack of studying. Chem takes a lot of studying and DOING the PROBLEMS, that is the way to learn it... When I studied and did the problems I did fine, study groups are great!!! Good Luck!!

A nice lady, but a TERRIBLE teacher. I happen to have a thorough understanding of chem. It seems she has no idea what she is talking about. I wanted to take the chalk away from her and teach the class myself. There must be a better way to explain chem. Give me money and I'll take her place.

Dr. Grant was a funny teacher! Tho she is not very c;ear at times, she made chemistry fun! I could not imagine sitting in any other chem class for 2 hours straight. She jokes around and laughs with the class. The subject is hard but if you do your work and actually study--you'll be fine!

She stinks! She can not speak english clear enough to understannd her. When you ask her a question she tells you to ask your tutor. During the lab she will write on the board what is to be done while she escapes into the backroom to eat her dinner. And she writes in half spanish.

Dr.Grant is absolutely GREAT! She has a strong accent, but i could despite it and still manage to learn. I got an A in her lab. Basically do what she says and turn in ALL homework.She usually puts the answers up afterwards for classwork. SO no worries. I'm taking her for chem 1A as well!

Dr. Grant is HORRIBLE!! I can't tell you how many times I walked out of her lecture pissed! Her accent I find cute, however her disorganization is what makes her such an imposible person to learn from. Avoid at all costs and wish her the best!!

Her thick accent and disorganization are impossible. She figured out the final exam was missing 2 pages 1 hour into the 2 hour exam. With all the people out of work in this valley why does this person still have a job? Avoid at all cost

There's an overwhelming amount of math required in this class. Alot of metric/english conversions. Dr. Grant has a very heavy accent. She was not very helpful and very disorganized. She has limited office hours. Lectures are scattered.
