Took Macro Theory with her. One of the best professors I've come across. She clearly loves the subject, and teaches it very well. She's well-qualified and extremely helpful and approachable. She made me LOVE macroeconomics--that should say enough!

She tries to be as engaging as possible. Boring subject tho. Midterm and a final. Difficult, but lets you get some points back. Is always available for help. Really wants us to learn. As for the previous comment, she is as nice and understanding as can be. She may have snubbed you bc you were rude, disruptive, with a know-it-all attitude.

Does not treat students equally and does not show respect during class. Also did not seem qualified to teach an investment class with a textbook business background and no real-world experience. She is one of the 3 worst professors I have ever had, 2 of which happen to be in the economics department.

Very nice and helpful. Good at explaining, will help if you don't understand, and gives a huge amount of practice quizzes and tests that you should definitely utilize. She can make macro very interesting when it could be very boring. Never skip or come late, she will notice. Usually curves grades. I got an A, but worked a bit harder than most.

She really wants students to understand the concepts she is teaching. Her notes are very detailed and she is most willing to help. One of the things I really appreciate is that she doesn't assume you know material. She meets you were you are in you understanding of the material.

Hard hard class. Material seems straightforward, unfortunately her exams are not. Exams are really too tough and too much thinking outside the box on an exam!.Also class was boring at times. Dont recommend her for this class at all.

She is a nice person, she takes her teaching job very seriously. Unfortunately Intro classes tend to be boring. She would probably be a great teacher if the class wasnt intro. She hates when you are late and takes notice if you skip.

I have never had a class where I had to study so much in my life. Granted I'm not an Econ or Business major; however, the material is quite engaging. LP does her best to help you understand. She gives a very objective POV (balancing left and right theories). She hates it when you are late to class, because I would know. Be there and be attentive.

The best teacher in the Econ. dep't besides Dyer. She challenges her students and extracts your full potential, if you let her. If you want to be lazy and just float by I don't recommend her, but if you want to get your $40,000 worth then i highly suggest taking her class.
