Comment:

Easily the best Prof of any online course I've ever taken. Clearly explained w/samples, excellent lead times, always available for help. Uses multiple drafts before final projects, offers easily understood project corrections. I've taken online courses from UofM/UofV/CalState and Prof Warren is the best. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

She has four major projects that are broken down with drafts and final versions completed throughout the semester. She is always available for questions and sends weekly reminders for assignments that are due. She's very picky with grading on some assignments yet gives full credit on others if you've reached the min requirements.

Online Tech Writing. Instructions were clear with multiple examples given. The four main papers (memo, letter, resume, porfolio) broken down into draft and final projects with plenty of time to complete. Instructor responds quickly and clearly to email and phone questions. Highly recommended, and will take in future classes.

Maria Warren was by far one of my favorite teachers I've had. She goes above and beyond to help her students understand what is expected from each assignment. She is always available for questions through email and responds within minutes. She is a true professional who knows what she's doing. Any prospective writer needs to take this class.

Three out of the five assignments were writing memos...I can see how writing one memo would be good, but writing three makes no sense. I learned nothing in this class that will help me in my future career. Instructions were assignments were often times too ambiguous.

Warren is by far the worst teacher I have ever had at UWF. I took this class online and her instruction and knowledge of the subject is terrible. THe assignments are useless in terms or their practicality in the professional environment and for your own good DO NOT even take her classes. Just wait for another teacher to open up a class.

I took Mrs. Warren for an online class. She is ALWAYS available to answer any questions no matter how ridiculous they may be. Moreover, she checks her email like every ten minutes! Everything she teachers is crystal clear and she even sends out emails to "remind" us of upcoming work. It's obvious she really wanted her students to pass! Take her!

Ms. Warren is a very helpful teacher. This class consists mostly of writing memos. It wasn't that bad considering she only gave about six projects all semester and 1 quiz. The rest of your grade comes from participation and surveys.

This class is a disaster. It doesn't actually prepare you for any sort of technical writing but instead a community coordinator or something. The papers are all useless, and you are forced to report artificial progress about topics no one cares about. Warren is terrible at communicating basic ideas and her instructions are simply baffling.

Ms Warren is a wonderful professor. She is very encouraging, understanding and thoughtful. I took this class online and she always responded to questions w/in 24 hrs (usually much less). There is a good deal of work involved, but it is not difficult if you put forth a little effort. I learned a lot from this course.

Extremely helpful and pleasant. She goes out of her way to fully explain the assignments. Contrary to what others said, I don't find her class to be constant work on top of work. Considering it's an online course and online courses are designed for self-motivated people, I think it's a perfect workload. None of it is "busy work".
