She is one of the best teachers I have had. She realy encouraged me to write to really learn to write. Is she tough? YES! However, for those of us that go to school to LEARN rather than just getting through GE it's all worth it. The negative reviews are laughable.

Hard but fair. Doesn't care about your politics! Cares about articulation and cogent reasoning. Earned A's and a B from her, and yes, I had to work hard; The good grades aren't supposed to be easy.

Even though its the only class I ever got a " C " rather than my " B " average I was holding at Butte; you will now how to structure any simple or complex essay for any class afterwards . She is a bit strict in attendance / or tardies because we did a lot of group participation by reviewing, working on or sometimes grading one anothers papers.

worst teacher ever! picked favorites and if you wrote an opinion paper that she didn't agree on, she would give a C or lower. Treated everyone like they were kids and basically told us that she hoped we failed and that it would be the hardest class we ever took. Don't take this teacher.

This teacher is stiff on the grading. she picks her favorites and keeps to it. on the many papers we had through the half semester, very opinion-based grading. wrote flawless papers, in both my eyes and the others who proof-read them, and yet they were given a C. others in the class would have numerous flaws with punctuation and grammar yet they were the ones with A papers. (i dont say this blind, passing around our papers for peer evaluation is a daily thing)

She is the worst. The text sucks, method of teaching sucks, are you catching on? If you want to write 1 paragraph essays for 80 percent of the semester enroll. If memory serves me correct she was casted as the wicked witch of the west in the Wizard of Oz.
