Dr. Lobonville is hands down the worst teacher I've ever had at ISU. She refuses to cater to any learning style other than auditory and if you're not; good luck. Between getting off task easily and being rude to students asking for help, Lobonville is a failure as a teacher. Not because of her knowledge of content, but because she can't teach.

I had her for Theory 101, which is an extremely easy class if you have had theory experience before. A lot of people don't like her but they were not doing well in the class and not asking questions. If you ask questions and keep asking until you understand, you will get it. She lets you redo all of the homework for points back. Not bad.

Took this class as an honors course and it was by far the easiest class I had all semester. Don't let her speech in the beginning of the course scare you into dropping-if you fulfill all of her requirements you'll get an A no problem. Technology is not her forte. She's a genuinely nice lady, but she's also genuinely crazy.

This class was extremely easy. Although I am very upset with the knowledge that Professor Labonville knows about current music trends and music culture. I feel she is set in the past and is unaware of how musicians today are influences by concepts talked about in class. She also knows nothing about technology, and is easily influenced by the class

**Honors** She is old & a bit strange but she is very helpful. She makes sure everyone understands b4 she moves on. u pick your grade. If u do well on all the assignments u get a an. there r quizzes, a paper, a 20 min oral presentation, & u must attend 3 concerts & report on them. overall not too hard of a class, it is honors so expect to do work

Hands down my FAVORITE ISU professor in the music department! She truly cares about her students and never moves on unless EVERYONE undestands. She also lets you redo all of your homework && gives you a completely new grade. VERY EASY CLASS!!!!

Not a very hard teacher. There were no tests just 5 quizzes and you get to drop one. There's one big presentation and a 2 page paper but they're graded leniently. Easy A I'd definitely recommend her.

This class is super easy. You do use the textbook to illustrate concepts. She's quite harsh on grammer when grading papers. I took the honors section and you had to do a group presentation, but it was pretty easy. We never had exams, just small quizes. There are tons of opportunities for extra credit. There is no reason you shouldn't get an A.

Take my advice. Do not take this course for granted. There is much to be learned. Yes, she's dry at times, but what professor isn't. Just do the assignments, and all will be well with the world. Much better than Aduonum.
