I loved Manilla! Her class is super easy, but very informative if you're interested. Her grading scale is easy! I messed up my bibliography on my essay (worth 30% of the final grade) and I still got an A+ on the paper! She grades more for content than for grammatical structure. I loved her! She is the best! I want to take her again!

She is the best English teacher I have ever had. She took time to show me how to become a better writer. This is not the class to take if you want an easy A. However if you want to become better at writing then this is the class for you. She gives LOTS of homework. Oh and she is kind of cute

She is one of the best English teachers I have had. She clearly explains how she wants every task completed and when each step is due. Professor Manilla is passionate about her work and ensures that each and every student knows the material. I only wish she taught an English 102 class so I could take her next semester.

She is one of the best English teachers I've taken thus far. Her passion is easily conveyed to students and allow even those bored by certain types of literature to become interrested. Exams aren't "easy" because you actually have to pay attention and take good notes, but she's a fair grader! Will definately take her again if I can.

She was very helpful. A lot of writting and homework due every class. She isn't strict at all about turning in work (i.e if you forget to bring it to class, you can e-mail it to her). It was a very easy class. A lot of reading. A lot of in class discussion. One formal essay and a mid-term and final. Midterm and final were easy.Need to know material

Extremely enjoyable to have as an instructor. Mrs. Manilla comes to class with a smile which brightened my day. The grading criteria is tough, but its forced me to improve my writing skills. Attend class and go to the extra credit events. Just for going to the EC lecture you'll receive 10 points.
