She's okay, although I learned that slacking off in her class is not a good thing in a hard way. Discrete math is hard if you're not logical and meticulous, so be sure you're able to do that.

She is a great teacher in that her lectures are clear and concise. She'll always answer your questions during office hours and class time. Quizzes weekly, usually 2 tests and a final, so always study for this class! She is a very harsh grader, though, so I would make sure to really be on top of your work in this class.

Very clear lectures. Goes over everything you need to know for quizzes and tests. Make sure you know your discrete math; it really makes things easier to understand in the class. Study every week.

It's good if your class has a few people who ask questions about any tough homework proofs, because she will elucidate the solutions in class before moving on to the day's agenda. She doesn't collect homework, but you should practice them anyway. She will pass out a quiz every week or so. Final is cumulative.

Easy professor. If you do homework, you can get A in class. Everything in quiz and test comes from homework. Quizzes every week, but midterms have similar questions as those quizzes. You can actually manage to get full marks on every quiz and midterms(like I did).

This professor is really clear and helpful in class and office hours. Her lectures are a bit boring, but you learn so much. Her quizzes are easy and they are based off the homework so those should be perfect. Her test are a bit more challenging, but if you follow her lectures and do the homework your overall grade should be a B or higher.

Dr. Blockus is a really good professor. The material is challenging, but she helps you understand it and she's always in here office if you need help. I go to her office every week and she's so helpful. Quizzes are easy! You have to study for tests, but it's from the homework, which isn't required. Take her if you're willing to put in the work.

Her whole grading style is just ridiculous, grades ur work to the problems and not ur final answer. My advice to her is to focus more on what matters in the class, the logic and dont trick students into thinking ur class is easy the first few weeks and do a complete u- turn later on. PLease avoid this class and do urself a favor and take it a commu

Terrible teacher. No notes or calculators on any quizzes and exams. Does not curve. Tests are extremely hard and is a hard grader herself. Takes off big points for small mistakes. I highly suggest you stay away from this one!

This teacher is horrible! She grades too harshly, i got big points taken off due to little mistakes. She doesnt care if you got the right answer, she'll mar you wrong if you dont solve it your way. No notes or calculators are used an any quiz or exam. she is a very tough grader. Every exam is worth %25 of your grade.. good luck.

A passionate teacher who loves teaching. She is very clear and concise in her lectures. This class was definitely not easy but if you put in the effort to study and do the homework, you will do well in the course. Overall, Dr. Blokus is an awesome professor and I would definitely take her again given the opportunity.

Don't expect this class to be an easy A. It takes a lot of time and work to pass, but I find it entertaining and I kind of like it. two midterms, quizzes every wednesday, no curve. Strongly believes that you deserve the grade you get. Optional homework assignments, but very helpful when it comes to midterms. Take her if you want to learn.

Tough teacher. Make it a priority to attend all classes and do the homework (even though it is never collected). Her lectures are heavy with information. She usually starts class 5 before and doesn't stop writing until 2-3 minutes after class is over. She is very helpful and approachable. Funny if you can stay awake :)
