I had a wonderful time in her class. Granted it is a lot of work but this class prepares you for the special education field. Dr. G was very helpful and helped me with my scheduling and I only have nice and kind words for this woman. You have to work hard in her class. She teaches you the materials you need to know. She is wonderful!

Professor Goldstein needs to consider retirement. I'm sure at one time she was a good teacher, but right now she is very confusing. Even the text that she complied was hard to read and jumped all over the place. She degrades the students in the class, she left many of us in tears!

She is hard and tough. She makes you work hard for your grade. If you listen to everything she says, you will understand what she is talking about. You have to speak and write perfectly or this will be your major problem in the class. If you need help outside of class for something she will help you. She is nice if you stay on her good side.

She is a failure as a human being and a teacher. I learned nothing in her class except how NOT to treat my fellow man. She gives the education department at WPU a bad name. Her instructions are unclear and she is a bully. If there is such a thing as karma, she will come back in the next life as a slug.

She made me cry and gave me a nervous breakdown. Workload too hard and turns people away from wanting to teach. But there is no way around her, she is like a rock in your path. If you can climb over it, you will make it. I doubt anyone would listen to our complaints if we wrote letters.She says she is the queen bee, so...

Professor Goldtein tends to have really bad mood swings. Not an easy grader and isn't very helpful when asking questions. She's tough, but you have to stick through it and you'll be fine. Just work hard and do all of the assignments on time. You'll probably have to take her class so just deal with it.

Ironically, this is a class to introduce you to a Profession that the Professor herself is inept at... Thankfully I was determined enough to knuckle down, not rise to her bizarre, and at times inappropriate behavior, and am now enjoying my Spec Ed Classes... I just hope I never have to take another class with this Jurassic Nightmare.

Think before you speak. She has a big personality. I spoke my mind and didn't have any issues with her, but I can see why some people would. Talk to her after class. Get to know her, which allows her to know you. Then you will be in with her. Don't be quiet and sit in the back of the room. But don't say everything that comes to mind either. She is a strange one, but she has knowledge to share.

Dr. Goldstein is a wonderful person. She is tough and demanding. She expects students to act like adults, not children. The "real" world does not and will not make things easy for anybody. Dr. Goldstein has been a great advisor. I have attended her classes and have learned a great deal. She is a strong woman and deserves respect.
