She was one of the more open minded teachers in that dept. She helped me make the transfer from high school to college. She can go off topic but that can be a good thing. I think the students that didnt like the class just didnt care enough.

AWWWWFUUUULL!! I would rather choke than take another class with her. She is the typical type that thinks her class is the only thing that you have to devote your time to every single day. The amount of reading is RIDICULOUS. 150 pages in 2 days? Are you serious? Excuse me, but I have a full time job, and 4 other classes. Get off it!

Lovely woman... very smart and very emotional about some subjects. I was in her Nazi class, and no one read the books but me and a few others, so it was basically our class. She loves it when you participate, that's basically how I got an A. Read the material and ask questions = easy A and lots of knowledge about the material taught.

I took her Nazi class, and this woman has way too much information in her brain. I loved her class thouhg, and I highly recommend it to anyone. There's a lot of reading, but it's mainly a discussion class, so reading = class participation points. Take the class and you'll learn so much!!!

In a subject containing colonialism, machine guns, "guerillas," hippies, free love, helicopters [which quite possibly could be the coolest things ever invented now that I think about it], and Swift Boats with HUGE guns, this class was kinda boring at times.

She knows more than she knows what to do with, but she's an amazing woman. She has so much to give to a student if you give her the chance. In class she sometimes didn't make too much sense, but many times I had convos with her outside of class that were absolutly amazing. All in all I like her :)

She is a lovely older woman. Is rediculously nice but drop dead boring. She constantly distributes thick hand outs (at least 2 per class)and there are 5 essays to write in addition to a huge term paper.
