I have Dr. Cloud for psych100 and I would not recommend taking him. I was given this class by my advisor and I changed my advisor because of it. His 100 level class is crazy hard! he has 16 people failing The class out of 29 kids with only 5 having an A. I had people majoring in Psychology tell me that they avoid taking his class thats says a lot!

Comment:

He honestly is a good professor. He tries to make the class more interesting, gives a lot of examples, willing to help you anytime and wants us to succeed. This is a hard class and you'll have to work for your grade. There is a lot of work online and the tests are hard, but if you keep up with it/study ahead of time, you'll be good! Read the book!!

Comment:

Dr. Cloud great professor. He makes lectures interesting and gives you a bunch of examples to relate to the topic. If you don't go to class you won't pass. He gives a moderate amount of work, but nothing outrageous. His exams are kind of difficult. I study really hard for them and still get in the 70's, but he is more than willing to help you.

Research Methods is the hardest class I have ever taken. Mr. Cloud is a good teacher who gives great examples, but there's a lot of online busy work and you don't feel like you have enough time to understand the material. The tests are HARD and you have to study well, or else you will fail. Do all the homework and when he gives extra credit DO IT

One of my favorite professors and he's my advisor! He will respect you if you participate and pay attention. I was able to catch up when I missed class and his homework is easy. He has a tendency to swear, but its tasteful.

Was a great professor, just sometimes hard to understand, but he is willing to help. His study cards for studying are really helpful and work well. If you study and put forward the effort you can pass, if you don't try and miss class you wont pass.

Dr. Cloud is a nice person outside of lecture, but the way he teaches he expects way too much from students in a 200 level course. He treats the course as if it that of a graduate level. This was the hardest class I ever had to take in college, and I would never take him again.

He is nice but doesn't explain things very well. It is scary to raise your hand because he makes you feel insecure about asking a question. He expects everyone to just understand what he is talking about. I WOULD NOT take him ever again.

Dr. Cloud has a very nice personality, but when it comes down to explaining the information he talks to you and teaches you like you're in a way higher level. He does not know how to explain things well and he is rude about it. Exams and critiques are hard. I would never take him again even if I had to.

Dr. Cloud kind of scared me in the beginning of the semester. He yelled a lot and was intimidating. As the weeks passed, I realized he is actually a very fun guy and if you do all your work you'll get an A. Exams are only 25-30 questions and he gives you a study guide and he does a live chat before the exams. A lot of homework, but it's easy!

DO NOT TAKE HIM ONLINE/over summer. It is impossible unless you have NOTHING else to do with your time. At least 2 assignments/quizzes due every single day. Even weekend and holidays. Exams are almost impossible. I can't speak for his normal semester courses but summer online was a nightmare. Save your money because you will probably drop.

Dr. Cloud is an amazing professor and is more than will to help students if they are willing to ask. However, there is no sliding through this class. Taking the time to really pay attention in class and read the assignments makes huge a difference. Put in the work and the good grade will follow.
