I don't know where I'd be if he hadn't inspired my interest in history. He's a really prepared and knowledgeable lecturer, but more importantly, he takes an interest in all his students. Whether it be remembering your hometown or how many siblings you have, it makes a difference. He's one of those professors you're forever grateful for having met.

THIS MAN IS SO AMAZING. I ADORE this professor. He is a great professor. He loves his subjects, he is funny, he is lively, he is nice, he is understanding, and about every other word to describe an amazing professor. This guy is seriously amazing. I wish I could take every class with him. He is also a really great person in general too.

Cosdon is probably the best professor I've had at Allegheny so far. I'm a Biology major, so musicals aren't a crucial topic for me, but he made the class so enjoyable! He's such a sweet man and he is hysterical. He's so kind, and I really regret that I probably won't have the chance to take another class with him. If you get the chance, TAKE HIM!!!

Do not take his FS class on musicals. he expects everyone to have as deep of an understanding on them as he does and if you don't then too bad. the lectures are long and boring. He grades extremely tough so don't expect an A. He is nice but it is superficial, if he doesn't like you then oh well. So get on his good side ASAP.

I learned a lot in Mark's class. Great slides and pretty good discussions. Very basic powerpoints. He doesn't tolerate slackers which is fair enough. He's a great lecturer, but I love when he admits he doesn't know something or was wrong (Queen Mary.) I'm psyched for theatre history 2.

Mark is an excellent professor if he has chosen you as a favorite and if you agree with everything he says. Otherwise, he is dismissive and disrespectful. On the surface, he is a nice, charming man - but as I said, it is only superficial. You should be fine if you are only taking 1 class with him; this comment is mostly relevant for Theater majors.

I'd sing his praises any day. Textbooks are only used because you must outline things in your journal. He's funny and patient, but sometimes it's hard to know what exactly he wants because he'll tell you two different things (in terms of acting, not necessarily other assignments). Light work load. He's really tons of fun and really knows his stuff.

I have had Mark for every class he teaches except Intro to Theatre. He is a tough grader and expects a lot out of his students, but is really easy to talk to and always willing to help you with any problems you are having whether it be school or personal. If you do the work there is no reason to not get a B or higher

I love this professor. He is my fave from all professors I have had from numerous departments. He made me appreciate and understand theatre from a whole new perspective. You have to work but it is so structured that it is not over whelming. His grading is explained on the assignment sheets. everything is cery structured and defined.
