Dr. Fitch is not a good teacher. He uses most of the class time telling unfunny jokes and making fun of students. His labs, test questions, and homework often do not correspond with each other, and he tries to trick students with them because he thinks it is funny. At the end of the day, he doesn't care if students in the class learn anything.

Total disappoinment. He tries to hard to be everyone's friend. He is too critical of people, and gets defensive real fast, even when he asks for suggestions to make the class better. Awesome prof, he let the class determine percent value of test, hw, quizzes, etc at the beginning of class. Teaches well, fairly patient, and funny. Tests are hard, but open note/book, and you get HOURS to do them during the lab section.

Dr. Fitch is quite possibly the most frustrating professor I have encountered. He absolutely shows no concern for his students' understanding of material. He provides VERY limited help and is incapable of doing so without insulting the student in the process. The class was absolutely painful.

Great professor - always willing to give help with anything (class-related or not) - best prof in the dept. Fun in class and easy to understand - he can make any topic entertaining and you definitely won't fall asleep. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Better professor in class than on a one on one basis. Makes fun of students but is cool about it. Realizes students have a limited attention span and tells somewhat lame jokes, although some are good, to ease the mood in class.
