Best professor at Bradley University. You will learn a great amount about comparative politics, and will have a much deeper understanding of the world economy. Europe was the focus of the class, but the lessons learned in Europe connect to larger concepts. Take him if it is possible.

This class is very easy, do NOT read or buy book. only tests on his lecture. On exam study guides he gives you 3 potential essay questions: 2 will be on test and know ID's. He is really funny and interesting. Definitely take him!

Dr. Gobeyn is hilarious, but he is an unrepentant commie. Oh well, he teaches objectively for the most part and has a great sense of humor. Take notes and cram before tests and you'll be fine as long as you have some interest in the subject matter. As an aside, be careful not to drink too much, otherwise you might turn out much worse than Gobeyn.

You know, everyone likes Dr. Gobeyn and so do I. However, this year he has been very lazy with his class. He really doesn't want to help out anyone and when you try to talk to him you can tell that he could care less. It took him weeks to give tests back and I was REALLY disappointed in him this year. Not all he is cracked up to be. Pretty sad.

Not only do I find this class interesting (and I didn't mind it at 9am), but I learned a lot. It was a midterm and a final, but he's very helpful and lets you give him ID terms and he'll give you direction. There's a textbook, but I didn't even buy it - go to class and you're golden. Take him! Even if you're not PLS, take him!!!

Gobeyn is probably one of the best teachers at BU. His anecdotes are hilarious and his lectures are never boring. Definitely in touch with the average student. I actually look forward to getting up early for his class. Exams are detailed, but he gives a great idea of what will be on them. Reading is moderate. No wonder his class wait lists are huge
