Really nice guy. Hardly teaches honors classes but I took him for Ethnomusicology. VERY interesting topic and you could tell he liked it. Had due dates for essays but he was SUPER flexible if you needed time. Really interesting essay topics. Overall great professor and I would recommend his honors class to anyone with the opportunity to take it.

Hollingsworth is amazing. At first you might think he's a little....shall we say sarcastic, but if you do what you're there to do, he will do everything in his power to help you succeed. He is the best instrument instructor I ever had and ever will have.

Okay, freshman he yells at you because you take these lower level classes because you have to and see them as a joke. He loves music it is his life and you are here waisting his time when you dont care, so dont be surprised when he yells at you. He knows his stuff and is very helpful. In class this guy can be a jerk, big time. However, when you need help, one on one, he is the best. I learned more from him in half a semester than with other instructors I'd been with for a year. He is great! Knows his stuff and how to teach it. Everyone should experience his class.
