Prof. Ippolito is a great professor. I am majoring in accounting and I thought that OSCM was boring. However, his lectures were excellent. His examples made so much sense, and he makes OSCM easy to understand. He is by far my favorite I-Core Professor.

Mark is a little snappy but wants you to learn the material. His in class examples/hw are key to learning the material for the exams. Extra credit opportunities - take advantage of them (you'll be thankful later).

He knows what he is talking about, but goes over the material very quickly. If you don't pick up material quick, I'd advise you not to take him or review the material before class and after. Also, everytime I've asked him a question, he comes off like you should already know the answer.

The things you need to know to get an A: The material is not overly difficult. Do all of the learnsmarts and other easy assignments, dont skip any. Study for the tests, he gives you a study guide that is very similar to test, know the answer to every question on the study guides. Take advantage of extra credit, and dont stress research paper.

Great professor! A little quirky, but if you read, do everything he tells you to prepare for exams, and work hard you'll be fine! I thought this class would be the most difficult, but I ended up doing the best.

Ippolito is an interesting character but don't let that distract you from the fact that he's an experienced professional. Highly credible, knows his stuff, and expects that you know it just as well which can be frustrating at times. Gives lots of extra credit. It's a tough class but if you work hard and understand the material you should do well.

Love Ippolito! Very smart and passionate about his job.. Offers tons of bonus points, which is nice! Cares about you actually learning the job, rather than just what's in the book. I thought I would do the worst in this class, but actually did the best! Recommend!

He's an awkwardly funny guy and a great professor, so lectures are enjoyable. His assignments are really beneficial and help you understand the material that is on the test. Great prof, and great class.

The homework assignments and the practice exams he gives out are the keys to excelling in this class. Theres a big storyformula problem in every exam thats probably at least 20% of the overall score. In his practice exam he'll have the exact same format, just different numbers. So, master that and you're set. Take advantage of his extra credit.

Prof. Ippolito is such a nice guy. He really does try his hardest to make sure everyone understands everything. His exams can be lengthy but they are not too difficult. The lectures can be dry but the class overall is not bad!

Confused by those stating exam material was unclear. He posted practice problems and study guide for each exam, and held after-class review sessions before each exam. Quite a character but I kind of enjoyed it. If you put forth the effort in his class, he will provide assistance when you need it. Did not use the book at all for this class.

Omg this guy is boring!...but I have to admit he is not a bad professor. He gives many opportunities for extra credit and is more than willing to take extra time to make sure students understand the material. You need the book in this class for sure b/c all lectures are based on it. hard to get a bad grade if u do the assignments.

Excellent professor. I had him for I-Core as well, and he inspired me to take on the supply chain major and pursue a career in the field! He is very passionate about helping students understand the material and help them explore careers in the field. Highly recommended, one of the BEST professors in the Kelley School.

If you want to get an A in I-core take Mr. Ippolito. He's an ex-engineer and it shows. It took a few class periods to get used to his "weirdness" but once i did i saw how great of a professor and person he is. He's now one of my fav profs at iupui. I hope I get the chance to take more classes with him.
