Great professor and guy overall, but it is almost impossible to get an A in the class. Curves fairly for those who struggle, but those who want to excel in the course (get an A) then get ready to not get one.

Lectures can get a bit boring, and he keeps covering information you already learned in previous courses a few times. Definitely helpful if you go to his office hours. Some of the homework assignments can be a bit long, but usually aren't too hard, and his tests have a range of problems, and are sort of middle-of-the road.

A really good professor! Even though it is really intense, I actually learn a lot just from his lectures. You don't even need the book like previous reviewers had pointed out... Overall, you should definitely take his class for a deeper and more complete understanding of calculus.

His homework is extremely abundant. You will have over 70 questions to do per week. And all his questions are hard and U may have to integral something that even Google don't know how to do. His lecture is super intense. He talks about a kind of questions within 3 mins

Listen in the lectures because he can go really fast (most of the stuff is in the book though). Homeworks can be long, so start them early. Overall, he's a decent prof. and it's not too bad. If you're not really a math person, be prepared to spend a lot of time working on it outside of class to get a good grade.

Professor presented the material in a clear and lucid manner. The material was somewhat difficult, and a fairly thorough comprehension of concepts was essential for making any headway in the homework. Exams were all take home and of reasonable difficulty. Word to the wise: drink plenty of coffee beforehand - prof. can get rather boring.

start doing every single problem in the book wright now because chances are it is assigned in one of his horribly long homework. Unfortunately the tests are made for a marathon runner and are pretty much the hardest hw problems u didnt get anyway made more confusing and harder with additional sections, stay away if u possibly can. oh and hes boring

Kon has some pretty funny math jokes and sure as hell knows what he's talking about, but the material is so dry (and 90% of it is crap any MA 225 student already knows) that it is almost impossible to keep interest in lecture. FAR too much homework (one was 23 pages long when finished). Exams not easy. Mandatory attendance is a major drawback.

Very smart and willing to help. Class is often boring as he goes painstakingly through long proofs that take up hours. The practice tests were far easier than the ones that were actually given, but overall not too hard of a class with a reasonable workload.

Although his presentation of material is surely clear, rather large amounts of homework are given, athough not without the useful advice to start early. Claims that your calculator will reject you if you attempt to use it to prove the divergence of the logarithmic function.
