Dr. Liederbach was an excellent guide and major professor. I was under him in the TH.M. program. He clearly cares about his students, is theologically and philosophically astute, and gives good criticism while still being encouraging.

4 books, one was John Frame 1100 page The Doctrine of the Christian Life, is anything but Sunday school material! If you want a prof that draws you into ethical situations and helps you work through them in the class room, take him. He is a man of God that loves his students and communicates clearly!

Leiderbach is lame. The worst I can say is that it seems a bit like he has a chip on his shoulder and that he is too focused on his own academic career. The best I can say is that he definitely knows his subject. He just could not pass along his passion - I felt like I was there to watch and admire him. The emergent dudes love him for some reason.

Intro Ethics just not a good Masters level class. No where near the Level of Jones or Heimback. Kinda like Sunday school with everyone giving input. Nice guy, just not wanted I hoped for, the text books chosen are great with the exception of Jerry Bridges.
