I finished this class within the first 2 months of the semester. I don't enjoy school work but I would do the assignments when I was bored just to kill time as they took close to no thinking. Everything is open for you to complete when you start the class. Grade consists of LS, quizzes that can be found online & labs that you have unlimited trys on

Just do the learnsmart activities, quizzes, and labs. Labs you can take till you get a 100 and LS is a 100 as long as you do it. He gives out extra credit too. Very accessible outside of class. Assignments are due every 2 weeks. Course takes no more than an hour and a half to do the work for every 2 weeks

Comment:

He was pretty nice and would often send out announcements regarding questions. It is a lot of work though and he does expect students to put a lot of time into the course. The labs are easy and you have unlimited attempts to get a 100%. The chapter quizzes are a little harder and are very specific to the chapters. No final and there is extra credit

Class is very easy but is time consuming. Software is difficult to use at first but he helps out and is understanding about it. Overall an easy class and would definitely take him again!

His tests are very challenging as you don't have any time to flip through the book to look for answers. You MUST memorize every chapter. Take another class like sci1102. Ten times easier. Landforms sounds easy but it is ridiculously hard.

This is a very challenging lower level class. It is the work of 2 classes. You have to use Google Earth to do labs with is often problematic. Labs take several hours to work online and then you have to take a long quiz over them. Reading is tedious as it is very long assignments. Tests are very tricky.

You have to do a tedious lab each week and take a quiz. The labs are quite difficult. The ready is difficult and the tests cover 3 chapters with nit picky questions. He makes his own tests, so you better memorize this difficult subject matter forwards and backwards. Very hard.

His tests are impossible. Can't google answers. Less than 30 seconds a question. You really have to memorize the book. Made a C with a lot of effort.

I took this class during online during the 4-week summer session. It was really easy just make sure you stay on top of the work. Some of the assignments were a little messed up and frustrating but he was very understanding and will accommodate the assignments to help you. The tests are a little long but theres only 4 along with 8 labs.

Comment:

Each test is over 2 chapters and the questions are very picky. However, if you actually read the book and study you should make an A or B on his tests. People who do poorly are lazy. Labs are interesting and challenging, but he gives you multiple attempts so no one should complain. I would take him again.

His class isn't terribly hard if you read all the material and spend a decent amount of time on the labs. 5 exams, which are a bit tricky, but I've gotten As on every single assignment. The labs itself are more difficult in my opinion. This isn't an Easy A class, but passing it isn't difficult either.

He's impossible to contact unless you reply to an open discussion board. A (easy) lab is due every week which means completing a set of activities using google earth and answering 40 questions about it. His exam q's are unsolvable and word-for-word from these labs. Ex: "What is the slope of this mountain?" (no picture or name of mountain included)

This class is difficult because the google earth labs are so so so confusing. Everyone panics the day before labs are due because the labs have no correct multiple choice answers. You will pull your hair out.

Don't take this class with a full load because it requires a lot of reading and labwork. The material is overload. The tests are hard and tricky. It's better to take it in the classroom so you can ask questions about the labs. Too much work for a C.

Do not think that this is an easy class. You have to read the chapters carefully and study hard to pass the tests. The labs will take you quite a while to complete as you will get stumped when you discover there is not a correct answer to the question. Pulled a B, but I worked my tail off.

I took the online class and it is a lot of work and reading. You have to work hard for your grade. The labs take hours to do and many errors can be found in the labs, which is quite frustrating. If someone would fix the question/answer set for the labs, the course would be much more enjoyable. Beware
