I took lessons from pawkett for 1 semester and it was disappointing. Not a good teacher for ROCKBLUES type stuff. He seemed like more of a classical guy. His lessons are monotonous and a lot of the time it felt like I was learning random things for no reason. Plus he hardly seemed interested throughout the lessons, often ending lessons early.

This guy is the easiest teacher to get along with. He's simply a teenager stuck in a man's body, but he really knows his stuff so don't fret. (lol, it's a guitar joke) If you have been playing guitar for more than 3 yrs then take lessons with him and not his other classes. Do yourself a favor and just have fun in his class/lesson. ROCK AND ROLL!

Pawkett is amazing. He knows so much and more than that he knows how to teach. He's not a show off even tho he could be and he just makes it easy for you to understand the material. Guitar is something a lot of people **** up and he just makes it seem so easy.

Ok.. He is a nice guy..good musician..easy class..funny and younger so its easy to get along with him.. BUT he totally favors his type of music over anything else And gives more opportunities and chances and is more helpful to bands who play his kind of music which i dont think is fair. He also apparantly has something against people who just sing.
