He is very lazy and doesn't like questions. Always in a hurry. His tests are easy but assignments are unfair. Might as well use Chegg. If you try them yourself and make a very simple mistake, he will take off major points. but someone who used Chegg will get 100%.

Few assignments in 102 but, if you have not coded before they might take a little time to learn the skills. If you need help ask him, he is very helpful. He is quick to respond to emails.

Most people who get A in this class, just copy their assignment from chegg, the assignment questions are in no way related to the stuff said in class, and the grading method is not so fair where people who actually try to learn and attempt the difficult assignments end up getting B and C and people who copy assignments get A .

The class is super easy. He finished the syllabus in 8 weeks for a 4 month class. Then he went over super hard codes preparing students for the higher level class. His jokes are lame af. Would not take him again.

His assignments were never beyond what he lectured on. If you pay attention, you shouldn't have any trouble. He is very helpful and probably the fastest to respond via email of all the prof's I have had (avg. response time 5ish minutes for me). His ECE102 is basically an easy A as far as intro to engineering goes.

Everything he talks about in class is on the exam. Attendance isn't mandatory but I highly recommend it if you want to do good on the exams. Only one assignment assigned per week due 5pm on D2L. The assignment is mainly about coding and I got help from the tutor and they help a lot. I honestly had no idea how to code and I got good grades. Take

Petzold is a fair professor. Do the homework, turn it in. Even if the code you submit isn't totally right he is good at finding mistakes and explaining them to you. Which is nice as the tests are based strongly on the code in the homework.

This was my first engineering course I took and was a little nervous, cuz I didn't know what to expect. But he was a great teacher. It was extremely enjoyable coming to class, even though it was at 8am. Discussions were very intriguing and as long as you pay attention in class, you don't need the book. He covers everything in the book in lecture.

First, lets get one thing straight: iif you don't want to work, you shouldn't be an engineer. You won't suceed and I'm just saving you some money. That being said, I had an easy time with this class because I paid attention in lecture and used the tools available to me. Others struggled, but he was open to questions any time. A very good teacher.

he knows what he is talking about but his lectures actually taught me nothing that i actually needed for the labs. there was no point in going to the lectures and the only benifit to going to the lab when your class did was that there were lab assistants there who did your work for you. As you can see from previous posts he is a tough teacher. Only because it challenges you. He is fair and expects a lot. If you are up for the task he is an excellent prof. Don't be a dumb**s and you will be great. The comments of the poor reviews should indicate their worth. They didn't use spell check. They were not meant to be engineers! Think!

Great Professor, always willing to answer questions if a student is willing to spend more than five minutes looking at a problem. He does expect you to be able to solve basic problems by yourself, so if that's not your cup of tea...might want to try another major.

He is a good teacher there is no doubt in it, but his attitude towards particular section of people is questionable. It was obvious when he gives his comments on sombodys assignments.He should also use his mind that if any one student commits a mistake it doesnt mean that each and every student is the same. Shoud use his common sense in grading.
