Mark is very funny and kind. He cares about his students but is also very fair. Definitely wont breeze by this class if you never pay attention or don't show up.

He is genuinely a nice person. However, his midterms and exams require perfect regurgitation of his presentations, which often had blink and you'll miss moments. he rewards effort and dedication. He wants students to be interested and ask question. it's a shame that he isn't a full time prof and is NOT accessible for office hours.

The most real-world experience I've gotten from a course, he actually takes you through the process of Integrated Resource Management (IRM) in the lab. Totally chill guy who works in IRM every day and so knows his stuff. Easy to get him on a tangent, and anything he asks is testable, but if you show up and do the work you'll be great!
