Best prof ever. I had him for Osteology, realized how awesome he was and took 3 other courses with him. I felt that he could be tough but fair. He was extremely helpful with projects if he could tell you took an interest with him as well. I genuinely enjoyed showing up to his classes to hear his jokes and anecdotes. I'm sad to see that he's gone!

Totally awesome proffs. The one's that leave reviews about favourites are just choking on sour grapes. He doesn't play favourites, he just appreciates it when students take initiative and seek his help on a problem - shows him they are trying. Also, really entertaining and engaging. The classes are rather hard, but forensics/osteo aren't easy.

Plays the favorites game big time, which really dampends your grade if your not one of them, even if your work is stellar. The class was really interesting and helpful for later on in Archaeology. The TA was awesome!

Fantastic teacher. Yes, he does tend to drone on at lengths. However, I often enjoyed his comments. He's very intelligent and he treats you as an equal. He was always willing to lend a hand if needed. He seems to genuinely care about his students as well (although he seems to forget names quite easily).

This prof is quite interesting. He goes on many interesting and funny tangents in lecture so it kind of kept us awake so early in the morning. His final exam focused on a lot of detail in the textbook though...make sure you know all those historical dates of the different discoveries!

what can i say. Interesting material but extremly boring lectures. He rambled on and basically just read from his lecture slides which were online, so class was kinda pointless. I thought he was a brutal marker and his midterm and final were impossible. i felt he didn;t concentrate on important conepts but worried about EVERY detail in the textbook

A loaded course so keep up with readings. Had him early in the morning so it could've had an impact on absorbing all of the material. TA was useless. Midterm covered every detail in the text. READ it because it was quite hard. He should really change the time of the class. 3 hours is hard to sit through. 8:30-11:30

this class was simply awful. It seemed that skinner wasn't into it, the entire class was extremely disorganized, lectures were always boring and LONG, made no sense, he mumbled a lot. the TA was an undergrad! (yeah)- he just seemed unintersted in the subject,like he was forced to be there.
