Not a great teacher. In marching band, he doesn't care if the band is in tune, which leads to everyone sounding like a shrieking pile of poo. Being loud is the most important thing to him. He also doesn't care about the well-being of his marching band members. Overall horrible professor and band instructor. Do NOT recommend.

Dr. Walker is the best. He loves the Sound of the South, and we love him! He's a funny guy, especially on pep band trips when he's less stressed, but he'll drop the hammer real quick if need-be. He expects hard work and 100% attendance like most band directors. He makes this band a family, not just a performing machine with no soul. BLOW SOTS!!!!!
