Marla is hands down my favorite teacher of all time. She captivates her audience, gives the most interesting information and helps you retain that info for years and years to come. Very enthusiastic and a wonderful person in every sense. Shes a must-have for Microbiology!

Marla is my number 1 favorite professor. I try to take every course she teaches. She is passionate beyond belief and her lectures are packed full of information. She defines what is expected very clearly the first day of class. She does outlined notes on the board and goes into great detail in every section.

Marla is one of the best teachers I have ever had. She is smart and knows her anatomy in and out. Anything she teachers in class, no matter how boring, she makes it so fun and interesting. Zone learned so much from her and this class, I recommend taking her class if you have the chance.

I've been a student who has attended 3 different colleges in my career as I have succeeded academically. Phenomenal instructor. Highly educated and passionate. The quintessential role model of a teacher. Gave ever opportunity for students to succeed. Was tough but FAIR !!! You show up and work... You will get the grade you deserved....

Marla is amazing. I would take every class with her if I could. She truly invests herself into her students. She wants to help you succeed and doesn't just care about a paycheck. I wish every teacher could be like Marla. She will make you work for your grade but she will help you every step of the way. You can tell she is meant to teach! Love her!

Her classes are not easy A's. Just wanted to clarify. Shes just such an incredible teacher that I felt wrong giving her less than 55 just to say she makes you work for your grade. She will challenge you but she stands by her students 100%. She will make sure you remember EVERYTHING you need to and makes herself available to help you! Love her!

I have never loved a human being more than I love Marla. Seriously, she is right up there with my mom and my boyfriend. It doesn't seem to matter what the heck she is talking about, she MAKES it interesting and makes you want to learn! True inspiration. I honestly aspire to be like her one day. Extremely knowledgeable. An amazing, humble women.

Marla is the best! I have used her for all my Biology classes except for Fundamentals. I would suggest her to anyone taking biology at MCC as she will take the time over her personal cell phone if you have any questions. I LOVE HER!!!! she relies on you to take time to read the assigned readings. questions on some exams will come from ONLY readings
