Definately take this class if you can. It is useful in learning how to use the library, especially for freshmen, and it eats up one of your tech lit classes that you have to take. Marsha is the nicest professor in the world, and while this class can be boring at times, it is also a great amount of fun somedays and definately worth it.

The class is admittedly boring, but kind of fun at the same time (strange, I know). And believe it or not, I actually have found it useful. Plus, it's a great substitute for some stupid tech lit class. Marsha takes some getting used to, but it's ok in the end. Take the class if you can.

I took her in 1994. She argued that e-mail would be useful. She made us learn telnet because it would be important. If you don't know telnet - it was a text version of the internet before the internet existed as we know it today. Hated the class - but most useful class I ever took! ask bout hippos
