Comment:

Dr. Martha Einerson is nice enough and is more than willing to provide help outside of class when needed. However, I have given her a bad rating because she is extremely arrogant and doesn't even realize it. COMM 110 with her is easy enough to pass as long as you figure out what she wants to hear and use that to your advantage.

Great professor. Knows her stuff and expects that you do your (few) assignments. Just don't be lazy. 2 essays, 1 speech, participation, and small assignments are your grade. Not bad at all. Some people don't like her but just don't talk when she's talking and you are golden. Also, just put some effort in and you will get a good grade.No complaints!

Comment:

This was one of the worst classes I had. She brings her personal views into everything she teaches and has snide comments to students who don't agree with her. Politics are among the things she brings up and it made me uncomfortable. Ideas for group projects were molded by her. I would not take another class with her.

Fantastic teacher! Changed my major, changed my life. She promotes free thinking, would love for people to think critically about the world and yourself. Her views are not everyones views, but she is open with evidence to your claims. Everybody should be able to back up anything that they believe in life.

Honestly, this professor is an affront to UWS. Did very well in her class last year, but she is closed-minded, man-hating (yes, I am a woman), and she has a hidden agenda with everyone. The only thing I learned in this class was how not to teach. While she knows a lot, teaches well, I found her attitude toward differning opinions insulting. Avoid!

Dr. Einerson expects a great deal from every student who is willing to do the work. She is extremely open minded and willing to help if needed. She is Communiations Department Chair and has done a great job in said position. She appreciates opinionated people but expects info to back up those opinions. I recommened her to anyone.

Martha is open with her views on the world, but does not try to brain wash her students. She is a very helpful teacher and is excellent at dealing with people who may be nervous about giving speeches. She gives out very little homework as well.

Martha is a great teacher. while she is opinionated, that is part of teaching, and she is pretty fair. I can see why some people might not like her, but I think she is a wonderful and caring person. she is there for each and every one of her students. she is pretty easy, except for attendance

Martha holds such contempt for a selected group of students (mostly conservative men) that it is a distraction. Having political views is great and a part of academic freedom, injecting them at every opportunity regardless of relevence is just childish.Brings nothing interesting into the discussion.

I Love Martha!! She is so incredibly helpful! I was very sick for a week, and she made me, not stress over my work, that week, and when I came back! She is a very genuine person, and cares for her students. She also knows her stuff! I have never left her class feeling like I still had questions.

I love Martha. She is a wonderful person. Yes she will push her political agenda, but if you are set in your own political ways, then that shouldn't matter. Take her classes. She poses questions you haven't thought of, and gives you new ways to think about things. LOVED conflict class
